Whitecross was engaged by Spire Global (UK) Ltd to provide Project Monitoring of CAT A works, Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Principal Designer Services for their new 30000sq ft Office and Manufacturing facility at Skypark 6, having undertaken their previous facility previously – our services in summary comprised:
- Negotiated financial dilapidations settlement in respect of one suite at lease expiry.
- Negotiated and agreed the scope/ landlord’s contribution in respect of CAT A works to new 30,000 sq./ft suite.
- Assisted in lease negotiations in respect of additional property owners’ financial contributions for new 30,000 sq./ft suite.
- Project Monitoring Services for CAT A works and Spire’s requirements for the new facility including power upgrade works and programming with CAT B works.
- Appointed a design team, incorporating specialist consultants in respect of CAT B fit out works.
- Adopted the role of Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Cost Consultant in respect of CAT B works, including liaising with their US board on project matters.
- Adopted the role of Principal Designer in execution of Client duties under CDM Regulations.
- Cost reporting and Contract Administration
- Liaising with Spire Key Partners to integrate Cleanroom, specialist rooms and facilities for their manufacturing operation.
