Whitecross completed five year planned preventative maintenance schedules for the Stirling Highland Hotel and the Marine Hotel in Troon.
These maintenance schedules have allowed the client to more accurately predict annual maintenance costs for the future while providing an overview on the condition of the external parts at the time of the survey. The findings of these surveys were then collated to form detailed schedules with anticipated maintenance costs broken down on an element by element basis projected over a five year period. This allowed the client to evaluate where ‘peaks’ will occur in the maintenance costs required and also allow them to budget accordingly.
We were instructed to act as contract administrators in relation to some of the year 1 works detailed within the schedules and for additional works to the Carlton Hotel, Edinburgh.
